Aka White House Aparthotel - Washington

The room was huge and the facilities included central heating, a microwave oven and a seating area.

Gorgeous, fairly clean hotel with nice service. Impressive and elegant units for early sleepers. The staff was lovely and the bar served fabulous meals. Marvellous and unbeatable location, right next to Corcoran Gallery of Art. The property a short walk to bars and eateries. And set near to a subway station. Simply no reason to complain, superb stay.

Great location near major landmarks.

The bathroom facilities were outdated and unpleasant. The shower head was broken, and water quality was questionable with a foul smell. It was annoying to deal with limited housekeeping and maintenance issues .

The silence and the room facilities.

The water heating system, if you decided to take a bath in the tub, forget about having hot water to fill it up.

Our 2 bedroom suite was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. It was also within walking distance to Washington DC sights.

I guess I would have liked a vending machine. But in the future I would bring snacks and drinks.

The suite was so comfortable and fitted with every possible utility that one might need, that it felt like our own apartment, not a hotel. The design is classic and clean, the rooms are spacious and the location is perfect.

We loved unwinding in the cozy lounge and definitely appreciated having access to the laundry facilities. Just a heads-up, though, the parking fees can add up over time, but it didn't take away from our overall experience 😊

Brilliantly located. The apartment I had came with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Wonderful!

The apartment had different rates for different nights, which was not made clear when I booked. Only the cheapest rate was quoted. I wish there was the possibility of ordering breakfast in the comfortable apartment.

Extremely nice one-bedroom suite, very modern, nice decor, very comfortable bed and linens, spacious living and kitchenette area, great to have the washing machine and dryer in the suite as well. The hotel smelled divine in the reception area and had a nice feel to it. It felt private, very comfortable and you could feel at home. Good free wifi. The staff were very helpful. Extremely close to the back of the White House (5 mins walk) and from there we could walk and do the major sights with ease. Also possible to walk to Georgetown (20 mins) which is lovely for shopping. Appreciated the arranged driver to and from the airport.

Quoted us $75 per night to borrow a baby pack n play cot. Completely ridiculous. As we were staying for 5 nights, we had to take our own with us which was really inconvenient as it was a 2 week business trip across 3 additional cities where we did not need to take the cot. I understand it is not a family orientated hotel, but as a business traveller with my very young infant I do not expect to be charged an outrageous fee for this service and was very disappointed by this. Most high end hotels offer this service free.

We had a beautiful suite with all the necessary amenities.

The trip up with the bags a bit of a pain.

Staying in a spacious suite with two bathrooms was convenient. The staff quickly resolved any issues. I especially appreciated the in-room laundry, which reminded me of home in Italy, helping me manage daily tasks easily.
